Being born in a musical family, it was no surprise that from Zenia’s earliest memories, she knew she wanted to be a singer, dancer and an actress. Her mother, Luisa Marshall, is the tv show host for “Simply the Best – The Luisa Marshall Show,” and is also a professional performer and world-renowned World Rock N Roll tribute artist champion for her tribute to the legendary Queen of Rock N Roll, Tina Turner. Zenia’s mom was also featured in the book “My Filipino Connection, The Philippines in Hollywood” written by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association chairman Ruben V. Nepales, and was also named as one of RBC’s Top 25 Canadian Immigrants in 2013 alongside NBA 2 time MVP basketball player Steve Nash.
Zenia performs on stage in her mom’s various shows providing both lead and backup vocals. She shares the stage alongside her dad on drums, her sister on guitar, her aunt singing backup and her uncle as a backup dancer.
Zenia is currently a high school student in Vancouver, BC, and is working hard to maintain her straight-A average. Outside of school, she attends ballet and acting classes while also taking piano lessons. When not in school, or studying and doing homework, Zenia can be found reading or writing some original songs. When not reading or writing songs or doing something productive, Zenia likes to sit and eat sugar… Zenia LOVES chocolate, ice cream and cupcakes.
