ABOUT ZENIA
Zenia Marshall is a Canadian film/tv actress and emerging indie singer/songwriter. With a love for all things performance and music related, after years of training in ballet, dance, piano, and singing, at age 13, she started singing professionally touring worldwide as a backup singer with her family band in her mom’s internationally acclaimed Tina Turner tribute act. She has since headlined with numerous sparkly cover bands, multiple touring theatre act shows like “Relive The Music 50s/60s”, musical runs, and as an Ariana Grande tribute Artist herself (yeeep she gets that a lot haha).
As an actress, Zenia film debuted alongside 80’s Pop Star Princess, Debbie Gibson as a supporting lead in the movie “Summer of Dreams”. She is most known for her lead role in the tv series “Date My Dad” starring with “7th Heaven’s” Barry Watson and the legendary Raquel Welch. Zenia has also guest starred on “Supernatural”, SYFY’s “Van Helsing”, cameo-ed on CW’s “Supergirl”, and is currently recurring on NBC’s upcoming “One Of Us Is Lying” to name a few.
Having written a plethora of music over the last 10 years, with much love & care, she’s working to get each song delivered to your ears. Just like in her acting, she approaches each song as a different character, style, genre, and story composed of deeply vulnerable introspective thoughts & emotions. She co-produces each song to explore a lush dreamy landscape of vocals, guitars, and synths creating an abstract blend of slightly unconventional dark tinged indie pop.

Apart from the art she loves to create, Zenia has many causes close to her heart and advocates for human trafficking survivors as a TV show host corespondent on the tv series “Simply The Best” on SHAW Multicultural Channel and works to support foundations dedicated to caring for human trafficking victims and children.
